#2244 Rental version instead subscription from 2024 (EN)
At the end of 2023 (28 December 2023), Shopware will change its booking options for extensions in the Shopware Store.
Only monthly and annual rental versions will then be available in the store. This means that the purchase version and the associated subscription will be dropped.
All extensions without a rental option will then no longer be available in the Store. A changeover is therefore mandatory for all manufacturers.
What happens if I still have a purchased version?
Shopware has developed an upgrade wizard that is available in your Shopware account. This allows you to easily switch to a rental version after the subscription has expired, so that you can continue to receive support and updates for our themes and extensions.
